Roseto, PA – Tractor-Trailer Collision with Injuries on Pennsylvania Tpke

Roseto, PA (June 23, 2022) – Around 2 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, June 23, a tractor-trailer collision took place on a highway in Roseto.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike between the area of Mahoning Valley and Lehigh Valley. A tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. Due to the severity of the collision, fuel oil spilled all over the road. A Hazmat crew was called to the scene to contain the spill.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

One or more lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
