Montgomery Twp, PA – Motorcycle Accident at Horsham Rd & Stump Rd

Montgomery Township, PA (June 22, 2022) – Multiple people sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident that took place in Montgomery Township on Tuesday morning, June 21.

According to Montgomery County officials, the accident happened around 10 a.m. in central Montgomery County municipality at the intersection of Horsham Road and Stump Road. Police confirmed that two sedans and a motorcycle collided due to reasons that are not entirely known. All of the vehicles sustained damage as a result of the accident.

Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person involved in the accident, believed to be the motorcyclist, received traumatic injuries and was rushed to the hospital. They were unconscious following the accident and had to be rushed to Jefferson Hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for several hours following the collision. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
