Rochester, PA – Devin Glace Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Pennsylvania Tpke

Rochester, PA (February 16, 2022) – On Wednesday morning, February 16, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Rochester, Pennsylvania.

According to State Police, the accident happened around 3 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike around the area of mile marker 20. Police confirmed that 30-year-old Devin Glace was walking near the westbound lane of traffic when he was suddenly struck by a truck traveling in the area. Two other vehicles were unable to stop and struck the pedestrian.

Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Glace was severely injured in the accident and pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody else was hurt as a result.

All westbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene. It took police some time to clear the scene, which led to delays throughout the morning.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
