Aliquippa, PA – One Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision on Rte 3016

Aliquippa, PA (February 17, 2022) – One person was killed in a fatal two-vehicle collision that took place on a major roadway in Aliquippa on Wednesday night, February 16.

Beaver County officials confirmed that the collision happened around 9 p.m. on Route 3016. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when one lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Another victim was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter, though their current condition is not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes after the collision. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
