Airville, PA (November 5, 2022) – A man was killed in a fatal truck accident that took place in Airville on the morning of Saturday, November 5.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened around 2:31 a.m. on Delta Road. A 61-year-old man was operating a cargo van in the area and headed south. Suddenly, a milk truck started to enter the road from a driveway, causing the two to collide with each other. The involved vehicles sustained severe damage in the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The 61-year-old driver was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. It is not known if anyone else was hurt as a result of the accident.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the road was blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
