Hummelstown, PA – One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on E Main St
Hummelstown, PA (November 6, 2022) – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash that took place in Hummelstown on Saturday afternoon, November 5.
According to Derry Township Police, the accident happened at 600 East Main Street in front of the local Wendy’s. Three vehicles became involved in a chain-reaction collision in front of the restaurant due to reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles went off the road and slammed into the local Wendy’s, causing severe damages.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. The party who was driving the vehicle that slammed into the Wendy’s was injured in the accident. The injured party was rushed to the hospital for treatment, though their condition is not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. The dining room was closed for the rest of the day.
