Nazareth, PA – One Killed in Fatal Car Crash at Newburg Rd & Gun Club Rd

Nazareth, PA (November 21, 2022) – One person was killed in a fatal car accident that took place at an intersection in Nazareth on the morning of Sunday, November 20.

According to Lehigh Valley officials, the accident happened around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Newburg Road and Gun Club Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles were involved in a collision after entering the intersection, though the exact circumstances leading up to the accident are not yet known. One of the vehicles ran off the side of the road and crashed into a pole after the two vehicles collided. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the crash.

Several local responders, including Nazareth paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One person inside the vehicle that struck the pole was tragically pronounced dead at the scene after their vehicle broke in half. It is not known if anyone else was hurt in the collision.

Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision continues.
