Carlisle, PA (November 19, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a motorcycle accident that took place at an intersection in Carlisle on the afternoon of Saturday, November 19.
According to Carlisle Police, the accident happened before 2 p.m. at the intersection of South Hanover Street and Chapel Avenue. Police confirmed that a motorcyclist was traveling in the area when they were involved in an accident with a passenger vehicle. It is believed that the vehicle made a turn at the intersection, causing it to collide with the motorcyclist.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to assist those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. It is not known if anyone else sustained injuries in the collision.
The roadway was blocked in the area for several hours following the crash. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
