Philadelphia, PA - Two Victims Killed in Tesla Accident on Easton Rd

Philadelphia, PA (November 15, 2024) – Two people were killed after a Tesla car crashed into another Tesla, causing both vehicles to strike a building and catch fire in Bedminster Township, in greater Philadelphia, late Friday morning, November 15.

Philadelphia State Police (PSP) troopers said the crash occurred at a building on 6600 Easton Road shortly before noon. Authorities stated that a Tesla crashed into another Tesla parked near the building; the impact caused both vehicles to strike the building and catch fire.

Two people died at the site from their injuries, though it's unclear if anyone was inside the building at the time of the crash.  The crash closed Easton Road between Quarry Road and Saw Mill/Old Easton Road for several hours. In the meantime, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. Troopers with the PSP are investigating but have asked any witnesses to come forward as soon as possible.
