E Hanover Twp, PA - One Dead in Four-Vehicle Crash on I-81 NB at Rte 743

East Hanover Township, PA (November 14, 2024) – Troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police said that one person is dead after a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 in Lebanon County early on Thursday morning, November 14.

At approximately 2:40 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the collision in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81, near Exit 80, Route 743/Grantville/Hershey. In the collision, there were two tractor-trailers transporting fertilizer and one transporting alcohol, in addition to two passenger vehicles. The coroner was summoned to the location due to one fatality, stated PennDOT.
