Philadelphia, PA (July 30, 2023) – Three people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision that took place in Philadelphia on Saturday night, July 29.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 11:30 p.m. at 5700 Harbison Avenue. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known in the Wissinoming neighborhood of the city. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result.
Several local responders in Philadelphia, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One driver was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. A total of three unidentified parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes due to the accident. Police cleared the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
