Hermitage, PA (January 4, 2024) – A man who was killed in a collision on Tuesday on State Route 18 in Hermitage has been identified, and further details in connection with the wreck have been released, per local authorities.
David C. Chill, 75, of New Castle, was killed in the collision, as reported by the Mercer County Coroner's Office in a press release. At the site, Chill was declared dead, and two other individuals were transported to the hospital by medical helicopter. Per early reports, Chill may have suffered a medical event prior to the wreck, which caused him to swerve into oncoming traffic before colliding with three other vehicles.
