Plymouth Meeting, PA – Fatal Crash at Germantown Pke & Virginia Rd

Plymouth Meeting, PA (March 23, 2022) – One person lost their life in a fatal car accident that took place at an intersection in Plymouth Meeting on Tuesday morning, March 22.

According to local officials, the accident happened around 8:49 a.m. at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Virginia Road. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to forcefully collide with one another. The involved vehicles sustained severe damages.

Several responders, including local paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of one of the vehicles was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people, who have not yet been identified, were rushed to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries. It is believed that the injured victims will make a full recovery.

Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
