Glassport, PA – Ennis Davis Killed in Fatal Crash on Monongahela Ave

Glassport, PA (November 26, 2022) – Around 7:40 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, November 24, one person was killed in a fatal car accident in Glassport.

According to Allegheny County Police, the accident happened in the early morning hours on Monongahela Avenue near the area of the Mansfield Bridge. Police confirmed that at least two or more vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known. A blue sedan then struck a concrete barrier under the bridge, sustaining severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person inside the blue vehicle, identified as 31-year-old Ennis Davis, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. A 7-year-old child was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital but is reportedly in stable condition.

Due to the severity of the accident, a portion of the road was blocked for some time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
