Falcon allegedly surrendered to police on Tuesday after the accident. He has since been charged with third-degree murder, manslaughter, homicide by vehicle, and more.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
We offer our warmest condolences to the family and friends of the victim whose life was lost in this accident.
Pedestrians are some of the most at-risk parties on our roads in the state of Pennsylvania. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in the event of an accident involving any type of large vehicle. Between the years 2012 and 2020, it was reported that approximately 158 pedestrians were killed in fatal accidents, and many others were seriously injured. Drivers are supposed to be on the lookout for pedestrians at all times, but this does not mean that they will always watch out for these vulnerable parties. If you have lost someone you love in a pedestrian accident, it is crucial that you speak with an attorney as soon as possible.
