Abington Township, PA (April 2, 2024) – The Abington Township Police Department warned residents to avoid an area due to a car accident Wednesday morning.
Abington Township Police said east and west traffic on Susquehanna Road between Huntingdon Road and Church Street was shut down. No details were provided by police about those involved in the car accident, though footage from the scene showed that at least two to three drivers collided at the intersection. EMTs transported an unknown number of people to the hospital in the interim. Police continued to investigate and asked any witnesses to step forward.
