Springdale, PA (February 7, 2022) – Injuries were reported following a head-on collision that happened on a roadway in Springdale on Sunday afternoon, February 6.
According to Springdale Police, the accident happened around 12:44 p.m. at 500 Pittsburgh Street. A pickup truck and a red sedan were traveling in the area when one lost control, slamming head-on into the second vehicle. Both of the vehicles involved in the crash sustained severe damage to the front end.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. A male from inside one of the involved vehicles was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is not yet known.
The roadway was almost entirely blocked in the area for some time following the crash. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
