North Versailles, PA (February 8, 2022) – A teen female was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash in North Versailles on Monday night, February 7.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on US-30 around the area of the local Speedway. A teen female was walking in the area when she started to cross the road. She was suddenly struck by a vehicle that was traveling on the highway in the area. The vehicle remained at the scene following the collision.

The roadway was blocked in nearly all lanes of traffic as police worked to clear the scene. This led to delays in the area for some time.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
Pedestrian accidents are some of the most severe accidents on our roads in all of Pennsylvania. In 2017 alone, it was reported that approximately 150 pedestrians were killed in fatal pedestrian accidents throughout the state. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in the event of an accident and are more likely to lose their lives than other parties on our roads. Every year, many pedestrians make the decision to walk instead of using other modes of transportation. However, they never really know how dangerous it is until an accident occurs. If you have lost a loved one in a pedestrian accident, you should be prepared to speak with an attorney that you can rely on.
