Pittsburgh, PA (April 16, 2024) – A 10-vehicle collision on Pennsylvania's Route 30 resulted in one fatality and eight injuries.
On Tuesday at approximately 8:30 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of the collision that has caused a partial closure of Route 30 in West Manchester Township, York County, according to authorities. All lanes between Carlisle Road and the vicinity of Kenneth and Roosevelt Roads were closed due to the collision.
Officers reported that four students were riding in a school van involved in the collision. At least one other vehicle was involved, but no further details were provided. Police in West Manchester Township are reportedly conducting an investigation into the fatal collision.
