Lititz, PA – Clinton Rohrer Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Doe Run Rd

Lititz, PA (July 7, 2023) – A man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place in Lititz on the morning of Friday, July 7.

According to Lancaster County officials, the accident happened around 8:25 a.m. at 700 Doe Run Road. Police confirmed that an adult male was walking in the area when he was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle alongside the roadway. Police did not confirm if the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene after the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Lititz responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has since been identified as 97-year-old Clinton Rohrer, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple blunt-force injuries. Nobody else was allegedly injured in the accident.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes following the collision as police worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released, and police have not said if any arrests have been made. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
