Leechburg, PA – Motorcycle Crash with Injuries on White Cloud Rd
Leechburg, PA (July 30, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious motorcycle accident that took place on a roadway in Leechburg on Saturday afternoon, July 30.
According to Allegheny Township Police, the accident happened around 1 p.m. on White Cloud Road around the area of Route 356. Seven motorcycles were traveling in a group in the area when they became involved in a collision with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Several emergency responders, including local fire crews and paramedics, were called to the scene to help those in need. A total of eight people were hurt as a result of the accident. Four were rushed to the hospital by medical helicopter with severe injuries. Three were hospitalized with injuries by ambulance and one was taken to the hospital by a private party. The parties are expected to be okay.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene.
