Philadelphia, PA – 17 Injured in Major Bus Crash on Schuylkill Expressway

Philadelphia, PA (October 22, 2023) – An automobile accident reported on Saturday morning sent nearly a dozen and a half people to area hospitals with injuries. The incident occurred at around 2:25 a.m. on October 21.

According to local law enforcement, a party bus was traveling on the westbound side of the Schuylkill Expressway when it overturned near Lincoln Drive after colliding with a Chevy Impala. The vehicle flipped over and came to rest on its roof in a wooded area located near Fairmount Park.

A total of seventeen people on the bus sustained injuries. The victims, who were in their teens and 20s, were treated at the scene. Multiple victims were then transported to area hospitals for emergency care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
