Manheim, PA (October 28, 2022) – One person sustained injuries in a truck accident that took place on a roadway in Manheim on Thursday afternoon, October 27.
According to Lancaster County officials, the accident happened on Hill Street and the area of the West Hempfield Township line. Police confirmed that a total of three vehicles were involved in a collision with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. These vehicles included a tractor-trailer, a dump truck, and a work van. All of the vehicles sustained damages in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. A total of one victim was taken to the hospital with injuries. They were treated and are expected to be okay.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked for several hours until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing. Police will update when more information becomes available.
