In one recent year, Pennsylvania recorded nearly 1,130 fatalities from auto accidents, the second-lowest number of traffic fatalities since PennDOT began keeping track of such data. Nevertheless, these deadly accidents still occur all too frequently, and justice remains owed to the families of these victims. If a family member is killed in a collision, you have every right to hold the negligent motorist liable for your loss. To be awarded compensation in a wrongful death case arising from a fatal auto accident, the plaintiff must establish that the negligent party was responsible. Of course, contacting a skilled accident attorney to help you establish the necessary elements of a wrongful death claim as soon as possible is essential.
