Earl Twp, PA (October 26, 2022) – A man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on a roadway in Earl Township on Monday morning, October 24.
According to Berks County officials, the accident happened at 8 a.m. at 1100 Powder Mill Hollow Road. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling in the area when they suddenly noticed a sneaker lying on the road. They drove a bit further down and saw an entire body lying alongside the road. Pedestrian Accidents in Pennsylvania
Every year, the number of pedestrian accidents that happen in Pennsylvania tends to increase. Hundreds of lives are, unfortunately, taken every year due to these horrific accidents within the state. Between the years 2012 and 2020, it was reported that over 158 pedestrians were killed and many others were seriously injured in life-altering accidents. When a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian takes place, a pedestrian does not get the care that they need in a sufficient amount of time. This means that their life could be risked due to an accident. Speaking with an attorney is incredibly important if you have lost someone you love in an accident.
