Etna, PA - Two Hospitalized After Collision on Rte 8 at Kittanning

Etna, PA (January 10, 2024) – Two people were reportedly hurt in a crash that occurred on Route 8 in Etna on Monday afternoon, January 8, according to officers with the Etna Police Department.

The drivers of a pickup truck and passenger vehicle were involved in the collision on Route 8 near Kittanning Street around 2:30 p.m. on Monday. EPD officers said that both of the motorists were taken to area hospitals in serious but stable condition. Officers added that the sedan collided with the pickup as it turned right onto Kittanning Street, but the circumstances leading up to the incident remain unknown. The EPD's collision reconstruction unit was called in to help investigate, though no additional details concerning the accident have been provided to the public during the interim.
