Philadelphia, PA - Victim Hit & Killed in Pedestrian Accident on I-95 at Market St

Philadelphia, PA (December 10, 2024) – A person died on December 10 after a crash on Interstate 95 in South Philadelphia.

It happened just before 11:00 p.m., closing the southbound between the I-676 eastbound and Market Street exits for several hours. It has since been reopened. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash should call the police, though no other details have been released. In the meantime, no further details were released as the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
