Delta, PA – Travis McFatridge Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Delta Rd

Delta, PA (May 24, 2023) – A man was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident that took place on a roadway in Delta on the afternoon of Monday, May 22.

According to York County officials, the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at 6900 Delta Road. Police confirmed that a male motorcyclist was riding southbound on his motorcycle when he made a right-hand turn onto another roadway. A passenger vehicle was making a left turn at the same time, causing the vehicle and the motorcycle to collide with one another.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old Travis McFatridge, was wearing a helmet at the time. He was still tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Nobody else was hurt as a result of the collision.

A large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time. Police will update with new information as it is available.
