Bloomsburg, PA - Two Hurt in Tanker Truck Crash on I-80

Bloomsburg, PA (June 24, 2024) – A vehicle crash closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 from the Buckhorn exit to Danville on Monday, June 23, per local authorities at the scene.

Traffic was reportedly backed up on side roads along that stretch as traffic was being detoured off the highway after the accident happened around 11:35 a.m. According to Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) officials, one of the vehicles involved in the incident was a propane tank truck. No details about the events leading up to the collision were released, but officers say that two people were taken to a local hospital. However, their current conditions remain unknown.
