Chambersburg, PA (January 5, 2023) – Around noon on the afternoon of Thursday, January 5, a pedestrian accident with injuries took place in Chambersburg.
According to Chambersburg Police, the accident happened at 1000 Wayne Avenue. Police confirmed that two pedestrians were attempting to cross the street when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle that was traveling in the area. The driver of the vehicle allegedly remained at the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. The unidentified pedestrians involved in the accident sustained serious injuries.
