Allentown, PA – Elijah Soler Killed in Fatal Truck Crash on American Pkwy Bridge

Allentown, PA (January 3, 2023) – A man was killed in a fatal truck accident that took place on a highway in Allentown on the evening of Monday, January 2.

According to Allentown Police Department officials, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on the American Parkway Bridge. Police confirmed that an 18-year-old was traveling in a passenger vehicle in the area when it was involved in a serious collision with a tractor-trailer. The passenger vehicle was left badly mangled as a result of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Allentown responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the passenger vehicle, who has since been identified as 18-year-old Elijah Soler, sustained traumatic injuries and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area following the collision. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
