Authorities have identified the man who died in a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday, March 23, along Center Valley Parkway. The accident occurred around 11 a.m. in the 3300 block between West Saucon Valley Circle and Corporate Parkway West.

Police said the crash involved multiple vehicles and several injured occupants. Brian McKenna, 62, of Bethlehem, was extricated from his vehicle but did not survive his injuries.

Investigators determined that McKenna was driving a Tesla westbound when it crossed the center median and struck several eastbound vehicles. In total, seven vehicles and 10 people were involved in the crash.

Three people were injured and transported to local hospitals for treatment. Emergency responders worked to assist victims and secure the scene while officers documented the incident.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

What Happens When a Car Causes a Crash in Center Valley?

When a vehicle crosses a median and enters oncoming traffic, it can lead to serious multi-vehicle accidents. These crashes happen quickly, giving other drivers little time to react. Investigators usually review roadway conditions, driver actions, and vehicle movement to understand how the incident occurred.

Collisions involving multiple vehicles can result in a range of injuries. Some people may experience minor pain, while others may require hospital care or ongoing treatment. Medical evaluations help document these injuries and guide the recovery process.

After a crash like this, insurance claims may involve several drivers and policies. Companies often review police reports, witness statements, and damage to determine how responsibility is shared. This process can take time due to the number of vehicles involved.

Keeping organized records can help make the situation easier to manage. Medical documents, repair estimates, and communication with insurers can provide a clear timeline. It may also help to keep notes about symptoms, missed work, and follow-up appointments to better track recovery over time.

In some cases, additional factors such as road design, weather conditions, or mechanical issues may be considered during the investigation. These details can affect how fault is evaluated and how insurance claims are handled. Careful review of all available information can help clarify what happened.

Because multiple vehicles are involved, communication with insurance companies may become more detailed. Adjusters may request statements, photos, and supporting documents. Responding with clear and accurate information can help keep the process moving forward.

A lawyer can review accident reports, insurance policies, and medical records to explain what options may be available. They may assist with organizing documentation and answering questions about the process. This can help individuals better understand how to move forward after a multi-vehicle crash.
