Warrington, PA (March 16, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash on Route 611 sent two people to the hospital on Friday, March 13, in Warrington Township. Emergency units were called shortly before 7 a.m. to the area between Bristol Road and Kelly Road after reports of a crash with injuries.
Authorities confirmed the collision involved four vehicles. Responders found sections of the northbound lanes covered in ice, creating hazardous driving conditions. Two people were taken to Abington Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Emergency personnel worked quickly to clear the scene while crews treated the icy road surface. Traffic was temporarily stopped in the area as responders ensured the safety of those involved and nearby motorists.
Police have not released further details about the condition of the injured or the circumstances leading up to the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
Our thoughts remain with those affected as they recover from their injuries.
In Warrington and throughout Pennsylvania, for most personal injury claims arising from a car crash, the law gives you two years from the date of the accident to start legal action. This means if you are involved in a collision and wish to pursue compensation for injuries or other damages, your claim must be filed within this two-year window.
This deadline is called "statute of limitations", and it sets the time limit for car accident claims within which an injured person must file a lawsuit.
Bear in mind that the two-year period begins on the date of the crash, not when medical treatment ends or when symptoms appear.
Pennsylvania law also recognizes that in certain circumstances, the statute of limitations may be extended, but these exceptions are limited and depend on specific legal factors. For example, if a claim is being made against a government entity, different rules may apply, and shorter notice periods can be required.
Filing a claim after the statute of limitations has expired usually means the court will dismiss the case, even if the injuries were severe. Since timing is critical, consulting with an experienced attorney promptly can help ensure that all deadlines are met and that your legal rights are preserved.
