Snyder Township, PA (June 24, 2025) – On June 23, state police provided new details on Saturday's fatal crash in Snyder Township, Blair County.
According to a crash report, the operator of a Honda Fury motorcycle, identified as 61-year-old Duayne Dillon, of Tyrone, was killed when he was struck by a passenger car that was on the wrong side of the road.
Investigators stated that the driver of the car was traveling northbound on East Pleasant Valley Boulevard when he crossed into the opposite lane and onto the shoulder to access a mailbox.
Police say that when the driver continued on from the mailbox, he reportedly stayed in the southbound lane for a short distance and struck Dillon's motorcycle head-on. Troopers say the driver of the car was treated at the scene for a minor injury, while Dillon reportedly suffered a serious injury to his leg and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators noted that the driver of the car was cited for being on the wrong side of the road, but an inquiry is still ongoing.
