Quarryville, PA – Critical Pedestrian Accident at Motorsports Complex

Quarryville, PA (April 24, 2023) – One person was critically injured in a pedestrian accident that took place at a motorsports complex in Quarryville on Sunday night, April 23.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened at the Buck Motorsports Park and Entertainment complex at their Mega Truck Event. Police confirmed that a large truck was traveling in the area for the event when it suddenly left the pit and struck an official who was working with the Wicked North Mega Truck Series.

Several local responders, including EMS and fire crews, quickly arrived at the scene following the accident. The pedestrian, who has only been identified as an adult male, was rushed to Lancaster General Hospital with critical injuries. He is currently in stable condition.

The area was blocked off for some time following the accident. It is not known if any activities continued for the night at the motorsports complex.
