Mt Pleasant, PA - Woman Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Rte 819 NB

Mount Pleasant, PA (July 23, 2024) – Police reported that one woman has died after a crash in Westmoreland County that was reported on Monday morning, July 22.

A 24-year-old was traveling north on Route 819 just before 6:00 a.m. when she collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons. According to officers, the woman was later pronounced dead due to blunt force injuries related to the crash. It's unclear if anybody else was hurt in the incident. Witnesses with information on the collision were asked to call officers, though no further details were released in the interim. An investigation is still ongoing.
