Pittsburgh, PA - Three-Car Collision, Injuries Shut Down I-79 in Marshall Twp

Pittsburgh, PA (November 3, 2024) – According to officers with the Pittsburgh Police Department, a large portion of Interstate 79 southbound was shut down due to a car crash on Sunday evening, November 3.

Troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police in Pittsburgh said there was a two-vehicle crash blocking the southbound lanes in Marshall Township. Officers added that one person was taken to the hospital from the scene.
