Philadelphia, PA (April 23, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured late Monday night, April 22, in a hit-and-run crash in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Philadelphia. The incident occurred just before midnight, around 11:55 p.m., in the 5800 block of Florence Avenue.
According to initial reports, the victim was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene without stopping. Emergency responders quickly arrived and provided aid to the injured pedestrian, who was later transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. The individual’s current condition has not been made public.
Philadelphia police have launched an investigation to locate the driver and vehicle involved. At this time, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not released a description of the suspect vehicle.
