Delaware Co., PA – Crash on I-95 near I-495 Ends in Injuries

Delaware Co., PA (November 6, 2023) – The Pennsylvania State Police out of Delaware County responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that resulted in injuries.

Just before 5:30 a.m. on November 4, the police and the Claymont Fire Company responded to the scene of the crash that took place on Interstate 95.

Investigations show that a collision between vehicles occurred on the interstate just north of the state line. The accident prompted authorities to close the roadway near Interstate 495 northbound to Philadelphia Pike.

One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated. The victim was removed and transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
