Perkasie, PA – Two Children Injured in Trash Truck Accident at PA-113 & Minsi Trl

Perkasie, PA (September 15, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a trash truck accident that took place at an intersection in Perkasie on Wednesday afternoon, September 14.

According to Bucks County officials, the accident happened around 3:10 p.m. at the intersection of Route 113 and Minsi Trail. Police confirmed that an SUV and a trash truck were traveling in the area when they collided at the intersection due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Two children, who have not yet been formally identified, were seriously injured in the accident and airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV was taken to Grand View Hospital for treatment of injuries but is expected to be okay.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time until police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision continues.
