One Dead, One Hurt After Rollover Wreck on S 4th St in Reading, PA

Reading, PA (June 18, 2026) – On Thursday afternoon, June 18, one person died, and another was hurt in a rollover crash on the 300 block of South 4th Street in Reading. The accident happened shortly after 12:30 p.m.

Emergency crews arrived and found a vehicle overturned on its roof. A passenger had been partially ejected through the sunroof.

The Berks County Coroner pronounced the passenger dead at the scene. Officials identified the victim as a 27-year-old from Sinking Spring, but additional identification remains pending until relatives are notified.

The driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials scheduled an autopsy for Friday morning to determine the cause and manner of death.
