Murrysville, PA – Fatal Crash on School Rd near William Penn Highway Takes Life of Michael David Poholsky
Murrysville, PA (October 9, 2023) – The Westmoreland County coroner’s office confirmed that 65-year-old Michael Poholsky lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Saturday evening, October 7.
At around 8:00 p.m., the municipal police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash on School Road.
Reports from the police show that Poholsky was driving a Chrysler Concorde on School Road during the evening hours. As he attempted to turn onto William Penn Highway, his vehicle was struck by a red pickup truck. Two other vehicles were also struck as a result of the initial collision.
Poholsky was severely hurt in the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in his vehicle was injured and transported to an area hospital for emergency care.
The Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating.
