Manheim Twp, PA – Two Injured in Tractor-Trailer Crash on Rte 222

Manheim Township, PA (February 13, 2023) – Around 2:15 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, February 13, a tractor-trailer crash with injuries took place in Manheim Township.

According to Manheim officials, the accident happened on Route 222 around the area of Eden Road. Police confirmed that a tractor-trailer was traveling in the southbound lanes of traffic when it was involved in a collision with one or more passenger vehicles. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders in Manheim were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A total of two people sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked in the area for some time. Police blocked all southbound lanes of traffic until the scene was fully cleared.
