Lebanon, PA (July 3, 2022) – A woman was killed in a fatal car accident that took place at a Lebanon intersection on Thursday afternoon, June 30.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened around 1:08 p.m. at the intersection of South Pine Grove Street and Greble Road. Police confirmed that 33-year-old Roger Barlow was traveling in the area when he started to drive through the intersection and was struck by a second vehicle. Barlow’s vehicle then went off the side of the road and came to a rest.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene. A passenger inside Barlow’s vehicle, identified as 37-year-old Jennifer Ludwig, was transported to Hershey Medical Center but was tragically pronounced dead while there. Roger Barlow was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries. Nobody in the second vehicle was hurt.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the intersection so traffic could resume.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
