Howard, PA – Barbara Frigo Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on N Eagle Valley Rd

Howard, PA (July 26, 2023) – A woman passed away due to injuries caused by a fatal motorcycle accident that took place in Howard on the night of Saturday, July 22.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened at 9:30 p.m. on North Eagle Valley Road around the area of Curtin Hollow Road. Police confirmed that a man and a woman were on a motorcycle when the brakes locked up, causing it to beer into the center line and overturn. The motorcycle then slid a distance and both people were thrown off.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the motorcycle, as well as the female passenger, were both airlifted to Geisinger Danville with serious injuries. The passenger, identified as 49-year-old Barbara Frigo, was tragically pronounced dead on July 25 due to her injuries. Police also confirmed that the driver, 52-year-old Jeremy Frigo, is expected to recover.

Police said that Jeremy Frigo was driving under the influence at the time of the accident. No charges have yet been noted.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
