Car crashes can happen anywhere, but busy roads like West Penn Avenue in Heidelberg Township see a lot of traffic. That stretch runs past local restaurants, shops, and homes. Around dinner time, it’s not unusual to see a mix of commuters, locals, and delivery drivers using the same space. With more vehicles on the road, one mistake can quickly lead to a serious crash.
Pennsylvania saw more than 115,000 reported crashes in 2023. Nearly 60,000 of those involved injuries. Some people walk away feeling fine, only to wake up the next day with neck pain or headaches. Other injuries, like concussions or back problems, can show up right away and last for weeks. These kinds of injuries can also disrupt your job, daily routine, and finances.
When you’re hurt in a crash, getting medical care is the first step. But dealing with the insurance company after that can be frustrating. Some insurers try to settle quickly for less than you really need. That’s where talking to a lawyer can help.
A car accident lawyer can look at the details of your crash, speak with witnesses, and handle the back-and-forth with insurance adjusters. They can also help you understand if you have a claim for lost wages, medical bills, or other expenses from the crash.
