Altoona, PA (December 7, 2025) – A woman died on December 5 after a violent crash on Plank Road near the Interstate 99 Northbound interchange. The collision happened at 12:49 p.m., according to Allegheny Township police.

Officials said an 84-year-old woman, later identified as Barbara Tretinik of Northern Cambria, struck oncoming traffic and caused a severe multi-vehicle collision.
