York County, PA (July 13, 2024) – A medical helicopter was called to the scene of a motorcycle accident in the York County area on Saturday afternoon.
Crews were called to the scene of a motorcycle-involved crash on Broadway at Beaver Creek Road in Penn Township around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, according to York County 911 records. A medical helicopter from STAT MedEvac based in Thomasville was seen landing in a field next to the crash scene. The crew from the flight helicopter was seen leaving the scene in a ground ambulance, heading towards UPMC Hanover Hospital. However, the incident is still being investigated, and no additional details have been released thus far.
