Valencia, PA – Two-Vehicle Dump Truck Crash with Injuries at PA-228 & Parks Rd

Valencia, PA (January 23, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a serious dump truck accident that took place at an intersection in Valencia on the morning of Monday, January 23.

According to Butler County officials, the accident happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of PA-228 and Parks Road. Police confirmed that a dump truck and a passenger vehicle were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection simultaneously, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.

Several Valencia responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Only one person was injured in the accident. The injured victim was hospitalized, though their condition is not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, a portion of the road was blocked at the intersection for some time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
