Upper Saucon, PA – Several Injured in Serious Car Crash at PA-309 & W Saucon Valley Rd

Upper Saucon, PA (May 24, 2022) – Several individuals sustained injuries in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Upper Saucon on Monday night, May 23.

According to Lehigh County officials, the accident happened around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of PA-309 and West Saucon Valley Road across the street from the Center Valley Parkway. Two SUVs were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection due to reasons that are not fully known. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged and debris was left scattered all over the road.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Multiple victims were injured as a result of the accident. They were rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
